The wolf, symbol of cunningness, grit and independence is the main character of collection.The setting is the Old Europe and the atmosphere that of post-war Alps with its troubled history of hardship and perseverance. Deep among the Alps is Tyrol with its unmistakable culture, nature and wildlife, reinterpreted as one of the leading themes of Cycle’s new collection.

The inspiration is shaped by the materials and colour in the collection – from mélange and felt wool, treated and dirtied knits to aged wools worn down by mountain-life. A range of knits are presented in the collection: tricot, shetland, gabardine – all enriched by leather and fur details. The peacoat, one of the key pieces of the collection, is developed in fleece, felt and gabardine, moleskin, satin and leather, all warmly padded. Highlights in the collection include tricot pieces in the form of cardigans and shawl-necked tops; oversize pullovers which can be also used as outerwear; wool kaban and coats are enriched by felt details

Fun in the sun doesn’t have to cost the earth. Follow our top tips for an inexpensive summer this year.

Walking

Make the most of the great outdoors and head for a walk, which can help to burn off the calories before a delicious pub lunch. Invest in some good clobber to plan against the unpredictable British weather, such as good quality women’s and men’s jackets and sturdy boots. The UK is full of great walks – check out the Guardian’s Great British Walks for inspiration.

Picnics

Take advantage of the sunny weather and take a picnic to your local park. Plan a romantic meal for two, or why not invite all your friends along and make a whole afternoon of it? If you’re lucky enough to live near a beach, pack the towels and swimsuit for a dip afterwards. Advance train tickets are a cheap option for exploring more of the UK – remember to pack your film-star shades and wide brimmed hat for summer time chic!

Garden parties

If you have a great garden, share it with your nearest and dearest by holding al fresco summer parties and BBQs. Relaxing with your loved ones is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, with the added advantage of being able to take it inside if it rains (and we all know how likely that is!). 

Summer events

If you’ve missed out on tickets to the big summer sports events, why not find your nearest outdoors big screen to catch Wimbledon or the Olympics with your fellow fans? If you’re a fan of the arts, there are always loads of free events to take advantage of. Lots of cities have open-air cinemas over the summer, with listings of events and festivals normally available on local websites.

House swap

If you fancy a break away from home but don’t have the money for a big holiday then why not look into house sitting? This new travel craze is a great way to visit a new place with free accommodation, with just a few plant-watering or cat-feeding duties to fulfil. The larger house sitting networks may require an annual fee, but the money you’ll save on hotel costs is guaranteed to make them worthwhile.  

CARTOON DENIM - The big emerging trend this season

Well have been a bit away from my beloved blog for awhile !   I have been ignoring the updates for awhile on DENIMOHOLIC " as i am a bit hectic right now with job and personal 'blah'  blah'  reasons .

Guys after those really cool MELTINPOT denims in the last post, an interesting article i came through.

Some ' reminds" me of a jacket i had when i was 7-8 , it was torn on the elbow  ( i guess it stuck on a barbwire, while one of those field adventures ) so to mend it i bought a MICKEY MOUSE woven badge , which you iron and heat and it kinda gets stuck sealing the destroyed part !


Well memories seems revisiting and this is the new trend wave in denim, coming in a big way this season, a strong Fashion detail in denim.

So, well ........ am gonna hunt for one of my old denim pant or jacket and mend it the "CARTOON WAY" and join this SUPPPERRR COOOL LEAGUE .......  am excited already. I'm sure by the end of this season every one of you will have atleast one "CARTOON DENIM.

-Top of the art wash. ( Just the perfect summer wash )

- amazing product details  ( i love the back pocket detail )

- the ZIPPER detail adds to the energetic and young feel 

- the distressed look ( the dry process )  with the layering is just amazing again as was in the Autumn Winter collection.

- Fabric weight is perfectly chosen for a light , easy summer wear.

We did this fun shoot this time around , combining the new Premium Mens Shirt range from KOSLAK's new Himalyan Summer Collection for SS12 (http://www.notjustalabel.com/koslak ) ,www.koslak.com   both were meant to be together !

The Himalayan snow shirt series by KOSLAK perfectly complemented the ever' amazing Jeans by MEltin Pot . 

Love the Campaign, love the new "  washed out " look,  again great styles developed both in M,en as well as Women range. I was pretty impressed by the Quality of wash,the weight of fabric used  (  9 -10  OZ ) which is just perfect for a freebird summer feel. Pumped up !

Also i would suggest you guys check the Shirt range, Really cool vintage feel, in vintage florals , perfect for the summer getaway, keeping you in the spotlight and with the latest trend in fashion.
