Levi's 501 in Ladakh: Kick ass

Hi everyone, its been a while i did not put any new posts. I was on a short break in the Himalayas: Ladakh ( my homeland).

What a retreat, splendid snowcapped mountains, dusty storm and the fresh air. Chilled climate, bright sunny days and the crystal clear water!

Well somehow i got some time to have some fun in my new pair of Levi's 501. It was the ultimate test of mettle for Levi's 501.

As i rolled,glided,rubbed,slided myself in the rugged Himalayan terrain, overwhelming dust and sharp stone filled paths. I managed to hurt myself too, but who cares i had a kick-ass time   ;-D

And yes my Levi's 501 indeed proved itself and once again renewed my faith in Levi's genuineness and timeless quality.

PHAAAAAAAAAAAAT GAYEEEEEEE,  dats wat she said when she ( my friend Vinita  ;-D      )

 mentioned about her denim and showed it to me. she has no clue how it happened. lol . Well i was up 3-4 drinks already when she showed the torn part of her denim. Now while writing the post i'm pondering as to, what kind of abrasion would have caused it.I'm assuming, either got rubbed through a thorny bush or got rubbed against a surface with pointed sharp edges.

We all know what it is like to have a favorite pair of treasured jeans that are so comfortable and fit so perfectly that we want to wear them every day. 

 The downside to this pure and beautiful jean-love is that too much wear leads to jeans wearing out – with telltale holes especially around the knees – and then before you know it, you have to either start patching, or search around far and wide to find another pair of jeans as great as your favourite jeans. But now, thanks to “modern fashion” there is a better solution! 

EVERYTHING has become “”cool”” and “”trendy”” all the threadbare patches, broken zippers, and holes in your favorite pair of jeans, patches, or any other torn parts, unless its not at the wrong place    ;-D

My Denim stories

I was just going through my old pair of denims and saw how old and used it looks now . Each lines and distress area has developed so well and gives the real character to the denims.

some of these holes below reminds me of sliding i did back home in the himalayas , on the rugged himalayan mountains! I got slightly bruised i remember, but it was totally worth it ; . . . ..

This is my favourite, the paint splatter happened accidently while i was working with acrylic in college days, i loved the look!
